Turmeric, Ginger, Lemon + Orange Shots

Kick-start your immune system with a shot every morning!



ingredients

  • 2 lemons, peeled and quartered

  • 2 large oranges, peeled and quartered

  • 2” fresh ginger, peeled and cut into pieces

  • 3 turmeric knobs, peeled and cut into pieces

  • 2 tsps black pepper

  • 2 cups filtered water

  • Optional:

  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 Tbs maple syrup

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender*

  • Pour into little shot bottles and keep in fridge (for up to a week)

    or

  • Pour into ice cube freezer trays and pop a couple out to drink every day

Notes

  • Makes 30-40 large ice cubes

  • *Optional: you can strain the liquid before through a sieve if you prefer to have it without the citrus pulp
