Soy-Lime Roasted Tofu

Simple 4-ingredient crispy delicious on its own or added to many dishes



ingredients

  • 1 16-oz package extra-firm tofu

  • 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup lime juice

  • 2 Tbs toasted sesame oil



Instructions

  • Pat tofu dry and cut into 1/2- to 3/4-inch cubes

  • Combine soy sauce, lime juice and oil in a medium bowl or large sealable plastic bag

  • Add the tofu; gently toss to combine. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour or up to 4 hours, gently stirring occasionally

  • Preheat oven to 450º

  • Remove the tofu from the marinade with a slotted spoon (discard marinade or save sauce for other use)

  • Spread out on a parchment-lined baking sheets making sure the pieces are not touching

  • Roast, turning halfway through, until golden brown, about 20 min



Notes

  • Serves 3

  • Cover and refrigerate roasted tofu for up to 5 days

  • A good half of this dressing is discarded before roasting the tofu
